Babbling Brook

dessiel

By this babbling brook I lay

Cold and unblinking

My life suddenly forsaken

Taken

The stone, by my head it lays,

Covered in the red of who I used to be,

As dark as the midnight sky

And as I look to the setting sun,

My life floats away on the babbling brook.
