I Want to Meet a Stranger

MALU

Just a random soul

Someone who looks closed.

I can sit down and talk,

Just to feel exposed.

I can let it all out,

And them do in return.

We can talk all night,

And let the cigarettes burn.

A short term therapy

For the price of a coffee.

To sit and just ramble

Completely judgement free.

I don't want another lover

Or even a friend.

I want to meet a stranger,

Who I'll never see again.

Sounds kinda like what transpires here on MPS ... baring our souls in poetry with 'strangers'. Good write, Malu!

Your poem reminds me of my 12-step meetings. You can meet many strangers there.
