Who Needs Sleeping Pills.

Wallace

I sleep well.

My soul I will never sell.

My heart warm.

Inside it calm, there is no blowing violent storm.

I feel pain.

And from it I do mentally gain.

My empathy strong.

I know when things are emotionally wrong.

I have lived under a dark cloud of rain.

And travelled on that midnight train.

I have walked that long and lonesome line.

Time after time after time.

I sleep well.

In my dreams I hear heavens peaceful bell.

Would that all my dreams were that peaceful and calming. A fine reflective poem, Wallace!

Very good write, I normally sleep well until that elusive muse calls me at three in the morning.
