A walk in the woods
Birds chirping in the tree tops
Seen deep in the distance
Rabbits run along the ground
Mountain lion tracks are found

Good write tony! Nature is wonderful!

There is so much more between these lines than the eye can see. I do like this poem, Tony!

The last line of this verse made me sit up and think - finding lion tracks shows that walk has to be overseas -
A walk in your woods is so different from mine here Tony - - an exciting read.
Thank you, living out in the country is a true adventure. You never know what you will find as you go walking
Nice peaceful read, right up to the mountain lion tracks. Enjoyed it.
