Tune: Laudes Domini (Barnby)
('When morning gilds the skies')
Isaiah 54 v.1-5
**********
Sing O barren, childless
The Lord does you address
And you His name confess
Break forth into singing
For joy He does you bring
Shall bless you, everything
Children of the desolate
Shall meet with wondrous fte
God shall bless them not late
For more children they be
Than of the married, see
Trust in Him now do we
Enlarge place of your tent
No sparing, no relent
No curtains shall be rent
But firm it shall abide
With the Lord here beside
You shall sure in reside
Expansion to left and right
Enlarged shall be your sight
And banished be yoru night
your seed shall inherit
The Gentiles lands you get
Restore them even yet
On you my name is named
Fear not, be not ashamed
Though enemies, they blamed
You, yet not confounded
Need you be, not be hid
The Lord with you amid
Your Maker is your husband
The LORD and He does send
His grace, does to you tend
The LORD of hosts is He
Your Redeemer He be
God of the whole earth, see
