Is giving us sorrow and pain
Maybe we should raise the bar
And fully engage our brain
Ascertain what we have got
To elucidate who we are not!

Ah - this explains in a few simple lines what brings us enlightenment Fred - -a fantastic reminder and into my favs goes this little gem.
Thanks so much Fay, and thanks for making it a favorite.
Had to hold my head sideways so the little brain I have was all in one place to write this one! 🙂
Yes Fred, relieving personal guilt is an encouraging lift that many need. Excellent write. ; )
Thank you AP, sometimes it is good to take an honest and hard look at ourselves. We might not like what we find, but at least we know what to improve.
Yes Fred, that's the best way to look at it. ; )
A poem with some fine wisdom , well done Fred
Thank you WL, something to think about.
Erm, so if we find out what we are not, what is left will be what we are. Yes? I feel a headache coming on with too much thinking! Mind you, that happens after about 2 minutes. heehee.
Thanks orchidee, that's the idea! But don't think too much, in your case, all you will find is good!
True, very true. Now let us raise the bar and expect great and even greater blessings to come. Enjoyed it...
Thank you rr! The great blessings are on the way!
Good thought provoking write Fred.
Thank you Goldfinch, I think we have to use our brains once in a while!
