From Darkness to Light.

Goldfinch60

They seem to be with you,

With you all the time,

The weight of problems.

Those problems seem to increase,

They start to push you,

Push you into a life of work and stress.

Just stop and think though.

Why do you let your problems push you

Into a lifetime of darkness?

When your dreams can lead you,

Into a lifetime of light.

Makes sense. It's always seeing the glass half empty, I suppose, is what we may often do. Good write Gold.
Wish I had followed my dreams in 1066. I only caused problems. You know - cos you was there too!

We would all live a better life if we could always follow our dreams , but that’s just a dream . Great poem very positive and uplifting

Thank you WL, it may just be a dream but it is something to aim for.

i guess we can choose our destiny in a way,at least through our thoughts

Why, indeed, Goldfinch. Too many people just walk in that rut they call life, instead of soaring above.
            Thought provoking write, well done!
