The top of very top
Lays a home for a glum plump
The eye between eyes, clouded
A string of of Swiss Chard around the neck
With the hope of pouring clean milk
Remains murky and fawn

- Comment from author about the poem: People might read this poem and think of a fictional character almost like a haunting creature who lives on a top of a hill. What do you think? I wrote this in my own way, as I allow other readers to interpret it in another. This poem is about a man with depression. The top of very top, as in his mind, lays a home for a glum plump. Which is a sad and depressed set of mind. Plump as in his brain. The eye between eyes, clouded. His third eye is no longer intact with the way he viewed the world. A string of swish chard around his neck. Swiss chard is a plant that helps with depression, in a metaphor of a noose. The hopes of pouring clean milk, hoping suicide can ease away his pain, remains murky and fawn. Which in all cases, it doesn't. Thank you. And may you enjoy
