A week in a day

Stevelle

Down our street theres a snotty nose kid
Theres a dog next door thats barking

Two old fishwife's stand by the gate
The post man walks by laughing

The pubs shut down at the end of the street
The newspaper shop has just opened

Take the dog for a walk later on today
The key in the lock has just broken

Boots on feet ready for work Bicycle chain all rusty

Stinking head cold at 5:45
Let's open the biscuits and share them

Coffee and tea at a quarter to three

I think I will just stay in
and watch TV
