Its my home.

IndecisivelyRed

It's my home
Its my kryptonite
It's my warmth in the night
It's my family
It's my nightmare
How are you all so merrily plodding along
It's my dark place
It's my regret and despair
It's known as my home but I don't feel welcome there
Why can't they see that they are making
My life so hard I probably should have been upfront from the start
But what can I do just plod along til I can't anymore
I wish she'd just close the door and wipe her hands of her daughter and child and maybe feelings would be just mild I can't carry on I don't want to I'm done
But what's the point of hurting everyone it's no fun being trapped in this zone
It's my home
It's my family
It's my nightmare

It hate it

I want a place of my own

So I can finally be alone

Then I'd be free, happy and me.

WELCOME RED ~ Thanks for your first Poem ! Full of post~teen frustration about having a PAD of your own ! Many of us can empathise ! I stayed at Home 'til I was 25 ~ it was OK but increasingly restrictive ~ so I moved into a low~rent one bedroom flat in the same Town as my Parents ~ This gave me the freedom & mobility I wanted ~ but I was close enough to go "Home" for Sunday Lunch and keep in touch with the CATS No pets (0nly fish) allowed in the FLAT ! I gree with your ending ! For the first time in my life @ 25 ~ I was master of my own destiny ~ Free ~ Happy ~ Contented and ME ! Every Blessing ~ hope you get your PAD soon ~ It's not cheap but worth it ! Yours BRIAN (34) Please check my poems ~ Thanks B.
