Halloween

Halloween

Little ghosts and goblins

Ghoulish in the night

With witches silhouetted

and flying way up high

An ogre and frankenstein

With their little pails

Visiting all the stores

As trick-or-treat they yell

The little house of zombies

The best place in the mall

With chocolate bars and caramels

Waiting for them all

Clowns with pumpkin pails

Both well received

Showing their great big smiles

And sharing their little treats

A fairy trick-or-treater

With her gremlin there beside

Of the candy she receives

Some she has to hide

A full moon is overhead

As they return to their cars

The older kids confess

They’ve been eating candy bars

Good write wc. We're spoilsports. Our 'trick or treat' for callers (I wish!) is to chuck a bucket of water over them, from an upstairs window! heehee.

I have been prepared for trick or treat for the passed few years but none have called, perhaps it is the barbed wire I put around my house that is dissuading them.

        • w c

Yes LOL! The barbed wire may have something to do with it!
