Pride

M.E.M.

Stand tall for you are a power!

Raised above all others you hold answers

Followers praise you, others envy your intellect

Don’t be afraid fragile one I’m here,

Protecting you weaklings is what I do.

Taking pride in what you hold dear.

No one can tear you down now.

M.E.M., maybe it's my eyes, but as the blind man said: I see, I can't see anything.
I do like the poem though, especially the two lines 'Don't be afraid...' and 'Protecting you...'

Pride is one of the seven sins. So... 7 words within 7 lines

Ahh, good write to get 7 lines, each with 7 words! And similar to what Cat says, "I" is in the centre of PRIDE. Erm, so it in sIn too. Hmmm.
