Too many days we only exist
Just get through the day
Not knowing what we missed
Unaware there is a price to pay
Eating, sleeping, doing chores
Forgetting there is another way
Staying mentally in-doors
Holding life itself at bay
Our days should have a goal
Something special we can do
Instead of hiding in a hole
Make life exciting and brand-new
When we turn in for the night
Looking back on what we did
We should not be at all contrite
But happy like a little kid
Life is for the living after all
Let’s live it up and have a ball

Very true Fred, live life to the full.
Thanks Goldfinch! We do what we can!
Good write Fred. Though my life is about to become totally meaningless, dull, rubbishy, very depressing, and all that dark stuff - me KP wedding you see! lol.
Thanks orchidee! Just sing your hymn poems to your new wife and life will be wonderful!
Great words to live by Fred.
Thanks AP, but not as easy to do as it is to write.
Wonderful message and write!
Thanks so much, poetboy! I do appreciate your encouragement.

Thank you Christina, you should! 🙂
Nice reminder. Try to get a goal for today.
Thanks M&M, the problem is not to get a goal, the problem is which one to choose!
