I woke up to find that she is no longer here
The sky was dark
The rain was pouring
My heart was breaking
I realised I'd never see her again
I would never get to hug her again
I miss her food
I miss her smile
My heart is shivering
The stars stopped shining
The trees stopped growing
The world became empty
The words became clueless
My body stopped breathing
My heart is destroyed
I tried to be strong
I don't know how to anymore
she is not here anymore
yet
I still cant bear the thought of her
It hurts my heart
It makes me crazy
I would do anything
just to have her
for one second
just to tell her

- Comment from author about the poem: My friend is currently going through a hard time,she lost her mom to cancer and I find it deeply sad to go through that especially at a young age so I tried to feel what she felt and decided that there is no better way to express than to write
