Miss Old Sock and Shoe

Little No Name

Dear Miss Old Sock and Shoe,

While I sit and drink my cup of brew,

I can not hide the love that’s true,

That I have found fondness for you.

But I am afraid you will gasp and flee,

When I come to you with a ring on one knee,

For I wish it is only you and me,

Sitting and talking over a cup of tea.

But, Miss Sock ‘n’ Shoe,

There is nothing for you I wouldn’t do,

I’d by you a car, all shiny and new,

I’d do it all if only you knew.

Miss Sock ‘n’ Shoe don’t you see?

My desperate soul makes a dramatic plea,

For the only one I love is thee,

For no lass will ever be more bonny.

Miss Sock and Shoe,

There never has been a more beautiful view,

Never more alluring than the face of you,

For my love for you, I will never rue.

Dear Miss Old Sock and Shoe,

While I sit and drink my cup of brew,

I can not stop thinking about you,

My wild desire for Miss Sock and Shoe.
