Your creative skills and power !
Rivers and Lakes glorify You
The great Oceans that pound our shores
They proclaim Your greatness O GOD
And your Love & Care for Nature
And MAN & WOMAN ~ You created !
What is MAN that You care for him ?
You didn't create him ~ Just a .....
Little higher than the APES ~ But
A little lower than ANGELS !

- Comment from author about the poem: I am a Scientist (Biochemistry) and the more I study the BIOSPHERE the more I am amazed at high level of delicate equilibrium with which it operates ! Complex Food Chains & Food Webs and thousands of precise BIOSYNTETIC PATHWAYS (programmed in the DNA of a seed) which gives each genre of ROSE its distinct colour ~ scent ~ texture etc. The natural World is a testimony to the Design ~ Beauty ~ Purpose and Order of God's Creative Power ! To propose it all arose by chance "Protoplasm in a Primeval Pool" to me is laughable ! I am a member of SETI (Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence) but after over 70 years of searching we have still drawn a blank. However if we are visited by "manned" UFO's or we do find LIFE on another Planet in the Milky Way I would consider that GOD chose to create life on a Planet other than Planet Earth ! ~ Thanks for visiting ~ Peace & love to ALL ~ BRIAN XOX

Thanks FRED ~ Please see my comment bout the Poem ! If GOD did not create The Universe ~ The Milky way ~ the Solar System and the Unique Planet Earth where did it all come from ? Remember that EVOLUTION is still a THEORY and there are no Chairs of Evolution in British Universities ~ Science proposes an teaches the "Theory of Evolution" because to say "IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS & THE EARTH ~ Genesis 1 v 1) is unscientific ! THANKS CHRIS ~ Pleased you liked it ! Yes GOD created us to be ANGELIC (just like you !) However many Humans (especially Men !) choose to act worse than Apes especially towards FEMALES ! You know I'm not like that ! We all have a choice to make ~ Let the Holy Spirit into our lives and be ANGELIC or let SATAN into our lives and be DEMONIC ~ You and I ~ and many other MPS Members have chosen to be ANGELS ! A fine write Brian. Yes, though apes and the ape family have intelligence etc, I don't subscribe to evolution either.
Thanks STEVE ~ because we occupy the same Planet (Planet of the Apes ? !) our skeletons ~ cardio vascular system and digestive system etc. are similay to the Apes. But (as you know) we are Bipedal Locomoters ~ whereas Apes are ~ Arboreal Brachiators ! Evolution is a SCIENTIFIC THEORY concocted by DARWIN and others to try to explain the "Origin of Species" whereas the BIBLICAL ACOUNT of Creation is what actually happened. God know best because He was there at the beginning ! God REVEALS while MAN can only speculate ! Yours BR IAN

THANKS FAY ~For a very encouraging comment ! What I have stated in the sonnet is what I believe by Faith and what the BIBLE teaches. For me also fro a "rational" point of view is that It makes sense to me as a Scientist. In the Biosynthetic Pathways ~ Food chains & Food webs and the natural cycles of Water ~ Nitrogen ~ Carbon etc I see ~ Beauty ~ Purpose ~ Order and Design which speak to me of an Intelligent Creator and not just Blind Chance as in the Theory of Evolution !
