Mood Hoover

Jayne

Oh no here she comes
The woman with the issues
Can I grab a cup of coffee
Before I hand you the tissues
It began with a molehill
And you've turned it into a mountain
You've made it into a big deal
Now you're crying like a fountain
I'm sorry I've got no sympathy
I'm usually empathetic
But day in day out
Its getting quite pathetic
If you've got a backbone
Then try to stand up tall
Pick your bottom lip up off the floor
And try to see past it all
You're such a mood-hoover
Sucking up all the fun
I thought we'd ironed this out?
I thought it was all done?
I'm really very patient
But you've managed to grind me down
Before I take my coat off
My smile is now a frown
It's time to smell the coffee
Give everyone a break
The soul-sucking concubine
My soul's not yours to take

WELCOME JAYNE ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ! Thanks for your first Poem ~ very droll and I love the visual ~ reminds me of a Lady @ Work ~ always hoovering (nice word) everyone's negative moods ! Still I am an encourager ~ buy her a coffee and tell her to readjust her mascara ! I guess because she knows I will cherish her (with coffee) she blubbs (another good word !) every time I appear ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ more please ! Yours BRIAN (UK) Please check my Poems ~ Thanks B.

Hi Jayne, nice to see you've made the migration. It's early days but I like it here. I like the Mood Hoover poem. Although I'm sure I've told you that before. Speak soon - Syd x

      • Jayne

Yeah it's ok here although I don't like how you can only upload one poem a day. it will take about two weeks to fully migrate haha. Plus its shaved a year off my age even though I put the correct date of birth on my profile!

      • Syd

Shaving a year off your age isn't such a bad thing, I could do with that also. I actually like how you can only upload one per day. It'll take me over a month, that's if I decide to upload every single poem
