Haikus

M.E.M.

Ice:

On the ice, she glowed

It glistened beneath nimble feet

She plunged in, cold alone.

Fears:

She was “put to sleep”

I wasn’t there, I’m never

Again another

Closed:

Thrown into the dark

Alone, enclosed, afraid

Do they know I’m gone?

I like all three, M.E.M. The third one brought to mind Schroedinger's Cat, a paradox, by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935. An illustration of what he saw as the problem of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects. Your Haiku perfectly reflects what that cat could have thought!

I love that theory. My Physics teacher Mr. Causey (you can check out his youtube channel and website) brings it up every once and a while. I didn't see that connection till you mentioned it. Interesting thought thank you.
