Star Walk

Wallace

Above my head a shining star.

Below my feet macadam tar.

Along the road i do walk.

To me nature does peacefully talk.

No people or noisy cars around.

As i pound along the hard tarmac ground.

The shining star above my head.

I follow as i slowly tread.

To where I'm going i do not know.

Along the road i calmly flow.

Old father time is on my side.

My once sick mind no longer thinking about suicide.

This tarmac walk has cleared my thoughts.

More time on earth this walk has bought.
