Tossed to the side
Left with time to bide
Abandoned on the bench
Left with a thirst to quench
Each Failure glaring down upon me
My Limitations chain me, I can’t be set free
This Weakness blinds me, I cannot see
Left hopelessly under the shadow of my enemies
Every Flame I’ve ever sparked, reduced back to ashes
Any Dream I’d ever dreamt, burns and crashes
All Hope I’d ever carried, now only a memory that flashes
The entirety of Time stands still, while I’m praying this moment passes
Frustration rising over my lid
Regrets that can no longer be hid
Misery flowing over what I never did
Fear growing and sharply acrid
But
I will scream louder than my heart could ever wail
I will strive harder and push past every time I’ve failed
I will rise higher from these sinking depths and tell my tale
I will succeed in every challenge, through any trial I will prevail

If you would not mind I'd like you to know the reason you just destroyed me and I will read this again and again until I can rise again. Yesterday my 13 year old boy was refused access to me, against his wishes.
