Am I Awake?

Am I awake

 

I must be asleep

 

Awake is something that I just couldn't be

 

It must be a nightmare

 

Life can't be this bad

 

I hope when I wake up I won't be so sad

 

This all seems like nonsense

 

It isn't for real

 

But that doesn't change how bad it feels

 

I'll wake up at some point

 

Or I may not

 

It seems for now it's here I'm caught

    I think it's a very good poem! Like Santita, i think it was like i was listening to a conversation you were having with yourself. I've felt like this before! I hope soon you find some relief from the sadness.
