Torn from the stars
Made blind to his vision
So not to break his heart,
He wonders and wanders;
This lonely solo survivor
Of two old souls in tandem
Come once again to observe
And share their earth experience.
Yet as madness's encroachment
Confirms his heart's knowing,
It's a journey not intended
To be suffered solitarily.
So far from home ...
So painfully alone.

Sensitive write Louis.
Great write Louis
Good write and good choice of words.
A slow and sad feel to this grieving lament Louis - - how powerful those two last lines.
Thank you for your kind and understanding words, Fay. Always appreciated.
