The Mad clock & Lonely Tick

Carmine

Part.1

tick tock, here comes the mad clock,

tick tock, he knocks,

tick tock, he walks,

tick tock, he talks,

tick tock, he knows,

tick tock The mad clock,

waves goodbye

tick tock the mad clock,

is now a sad clock,

all he wanted,

all he needed,

was a friend,

tick tock waves,

you smile,

he dies.

Part.2

the clock goes tick,

The mad clock goes tock,

the silence that came,

was not the mad clock,

it was the sad clock,

i’m sorry,

tick tock here it comes,

tick tock it swong,

tick tock i tried,

tick tock i cried,

tick tock the mad and sad,

sorry for being the envy and angry,

tick tock you sounded,

kling klong is what i made it,

Tick tock the mad clock,

is not here,

kling klong I’m the lonely clock.

Tick clock,

is now a lonely clock.

What I get from this is that sadness from times of loneliness (the"sad clock") is both a cause and result of times of anger (the "mad clock"). Smile at the "sad clock" and he dies, for his sadness is for some time gone.

Even if my interpretation is off, this was an interesting way to express something that leaves a lot for contemplation. I like it.

Thanks! i always write about things that just pops up in my head. Is not like i have hidden the message, is just a peom. Where people can express their own ways with the words and make something up to make them think about what it stands for. The curiosity that they take their time to figure it out to realize that it has more mening then what the author originally didn't though about.
