Defying Gravity

Baylee

If luck will have us

I’ll meet you in my dreams tonight

among the soft moonlight

filtering through the careless clouds

I'll come find you

and you'll be waiting for me

Where eventually

we’ll join hands

and our souls will drift away,

defying gravity and physics

as our heartbeats slow

and our bodies grow stiff.

This is so beautifully written, Nicole, it nearly feels like an out of body experience!
