Timeless affection upon a webbed struck heart
Since the magic of knowledge
Fingers dipped in priceless emotion
And, of course, when it falls apart
Danger prevails in front of Love's door
Oh, how could this ever happen?
Captured and lured by false protection
Whilst screaming out for more
Whisper dearly when brimming overtops
Flowing silently deep within
Caress flawlessly to sooth a soul
God's declarations, pray it never stops
Beauty reflecting somewhat of an honour
Mirrors parade shows us in knowing
A petal which reveals the truth
Of when it's near on a goner
Fishing deeply in a universe at night
To catch the right star rising
Caught up in the heat of moments
If angels sing and fight
Play a tune with melodic faith and harmony
By Tchaikovski concerto number 5
Piano strings can stretch a bit
When love is like a desperate me
Since starting it never faltered or demised
To strengthen is the golden key
If there was any doubt in it
Listen out for all those happy cries
Bullets of distinction when it's broken up
By an unlucky four-leaf-clover
So sail this ship upon the rocks
When love has finally had enough
Crying shame on a Jesus cross of hope
With a stage full of heartfelt tears
And when a poets pen runs out of ink
It's the last of a lovers note
Farewell to then a Shakespeare sonnet
Of which I hate to say
But the love it has and the way we perceive
Of how to get back on it.

This is pretty damn good, Kevin. I keep re-reading it both for enjoyment and to let it's imagery and meaning sink in, something it's smooth rhythm and rhyme scheme make it very easy and satisfying to do.
Bless you, my friend, and thanks for such a warming comment. Just like this poem did for you, it touched my heart.
Sure penetrates even more so after a second reading - great work.

You are not called 'kingkev' for nothing! This is 'royal writing' here, Kevin! Enjoyed it to the last line.
