Multicultural Marvellings

Tune: Aurelia

('The church's one foundation')

********

A church multicultural

We pray we hear your call

The mystery revealéd

Comes to pass as you said

Lord, that Gentiles should be part

In life and mind and heart

Of the same body as Jews

Which your Spirit renews

So included all people

Open to each race, school

Each country and each nation

The worldwide salvation

With Christ the living Head, He

O'er the church e'er Lord be

We members of His body

Th church eternally

For all nations of the earth

Are blessed since Abraham's birth

Such promise was to him made

Foundational and staid

And too a great multitude

A Revelation viewed

By John of all nations, kins

Praising God, freed from sins

For you Lord, true did pray sure

That believers e'ermore

May show that through unity

Message to world, it be

That the Father the Son sent

Who obeyed, no relent

And that the Father loves none

Less than He loves His Son

Christ our peace, for He has made

Peace for us all, price paid

Upon the cross He removed

The wall that hostile proved

'Tween man and God, man and man

No enmity now can

Separate out  Christ's people

Where gathered in love all
