You are not to blame!

Dariana

You are not to blame! for all the times that I could not look at myself in the mirror.

You are not to blame! for all the night that I woke up screaming, and afraid to go back to sleep.

You are not to blame! for all the times that you beat me, and I lost my babies.

You are not to blame! for that time when you beat me so much, and my baby decided to be a soldier and still be alive. Then you drugged me and made sure

that I had an abortion that same night.

You are not to blame! when I was lying down on the hospital bed bleeding to death.

You are not to blame! for all the bruises on my body.

You are not to blame! for all my pain and sorrow.

You are not to blame! for me being so afraid, that I even walked away from my own family.

You are not to blame! for every time that I kept telling myself that you love me, and believing those same words when they came out your mouth.

I blame myself! and why do I? I’m still waiting for an answer.

WELCOME DARIANA ~ Thanks for your first POEM ~ very SAD and ANGRY ! If it is AUTOBIGRAPHICAL ~ then you have all my SYMPATHY ~ PRAYERS & SUPPORT. If not ~ it is however a true reflection of how some MEN behave and their gross actions makes me ashamed to be a MAN ! My Mum taught me to always respect Ladies and to treat them with a VELVET GLOVE ~ and I always do ! Thanks for caring & sharing every BLESSING ~ BRIAN (UK) Please check my Poems ~ Thanks B.
