At the Heart of Christmas is the True Story
Of the INCARNATION ~ God sending his SON
As a BABY ~ Born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem !
The event was so so important that they changed the DATE
From BC (Before Christ) to AD (Anno Domini) In the Year of our LORD !
My favourite things are the CHRISTMAS CAROLS which honor the Birth of JESUS !

This christmas I look forward
baking sugar cookies with my family
It's a time honored tradition so there's
no doubt I'll be covered in flour head to toe
We have all the cookie cutters we need
In a few weeks you'll be seeing less of me
Cause in the kitchen we will be--baking galore!

I love December ~ every shop has
NICE MINCE PIES ~ short crust pastry
Currants & Sultanas & Mixed Peel ~ filled
Everyone to bursting point ! Big Pies & Small

Pies ~ ready to eat warm !
I like them with thick double cream
Eaten at any time or as dessert after lunch !
So get busy baking CHRISTINA ~ but make Mince Pies !

Great idea Brian - started this just the other day!
I wake to a film of pure beauty descending,
to form the dreamscapes
crashed by excitements compulsive, convulsive impatience,
playful destination;
base their joy
lace the world in celebration
and Good Tidings!
Favourite thing... this year, my sister starts the next generation, so I get to start seeing it from the other side; should help!
