All ideas welcome
Inglorious or sublime
Humorous
Or serious
Compos mentis
Or delirious
Don't question your rhymes
Don't worry if they belong
There's no right
There's no wrong
Let your ideas
Out of the cage
Don't hide in the dark
Take the centre of the stage
Spill your thoughts
Spill your love
Spill your rage
Let your emotions fill the page
Forget time
Embrace rhyme
Your vinegar
Maybe someone else's white wine

- Comment from author about the poem: I once received a lot of praise for a poem that I myself wasn’t keen on. I wrote it at a time when I was feeling down and out of control...Anyway, I didn't think the poem was very good personally but lots of other people did.
