Preyed Upon
There once was a bumblebee
That lost his life very suddenly
The praying mantis tore him apart
but lost his life to a meadow lark
The meadow lark flew away
To hunt again another day
A sparrow hawk watched him hide
And sank his talons in his side
The sparrow hawk ceased to be
To a hawk bigger than he
The larger one spent his day
Perched up high where he preyed

It is called the 'food-chain', and you wrote it well! Nice rhyming too!
Thanks Fred. Yes, that's how nature works.
Erm, a sort of "(bigger) dog eat (smaller) dog" there wc!
Yes, orchidee! Thanks for your comment!
