Boom! Crash! Here comes the big bang!
A galaxy has formed this is where it all began
bright smiling stars start appearing in the sky
and 4 huge rock planets
appear in the spacey night
Venus, Mars, Mercury and Earth
All dance together
rolling around the universe
Huge gas giants came along too
its the solar system dancing crew!
A black hole came along
and started to sing a spacey song
all the planets and stars danced about
They orbited to sun,
they went round and round!
some of the stars shone as life on earth bloomed,
its the solar system dancing crew!

WELCOME DD ~ Thanks for your first Poem ~ which ventures into very Scientific and Sacred ground ! When we investigate Planet Earth and its place in the Solar System ~ and in the Milky Way we see Beauty ~ Purpose ~ Order ~ Design and NOT ~ Blind Chance. My interest is Environmental Science and Science has many Theories about the Origin of The Universe ~ The Milky Way ~ The Solar System ~ Planet Earth ~ Life on Earth and Man but very few answers ! The BIBLE (Genesis 1 v 1) simply states "In the Beginning GOD created ............... !" This accounts for the Origin of Everything ! You mention the first four Rocky Planets in the Solar System ~ Mercury ~ Venus ~ EARTH ~ Mars. Their gravity maintains the position of the Earth on an orbit that allows an average Global Temperature of 16C which keeps 98% of our water as liquid (or vapour) the Earths gravity is sufficient to prevent any of the water (H2O) escaping or any of the gases in the Atmosphere (21% O2 78% N2 1% A and others). This enables the Earth to sustain Life and there are dynamic Mineral Cycles (Water ~ Oxygen ~ Nitrogen ~ Carbon ~ Phosphorus ~ Potassium etc) and complex Food Chains & Webs which keeps the Biosphere in equilibrium ! Since the Industrial Revolution Man has disturbed the equilibrium buy exploiting the Earth Resources and Pollution ~ but the Earth fights back & restores equilibrium which is why a doubling or the atmospheric CO2 has caused a 1C rise in average temperature etc ! WE are the only living Planet in the Solar System and to date ~ The Milky Way ! We also have a fabulous Moon which does more than we know !
