Ask Me Why I Love You...

Tumnus

Ask me why I love you,

Go on, I dare you.

Here, I’ll tell you,

It is ridiculous!

To ask, is to ask a flower which is more important, its bud or its petals

It is to ask the earth what is most important about the sun,

Its heat, or its gravitational pull

It is to ask the author which part of the story is most important

The middle, beginning or end?

To ask, is to ask DNA which pair of chromosomes are most essential

You see, it is ridiculous

Ok, go on, I’ll tell you.

I dare you,

ask me why I love you…
