I’m a sucker for sunsets, let me tell you that.
I’m a sucker for the ocean, and the moon.
I’m a sucker for the sound of rain.
I’m a sucker for the feeling of getting into bed after a long day.
But mostly, I’m a sucker for your eyes, and how somehow, when I look into them, I feel like I’m home. I’m a sucker for the sound of your laugh.
I’m a sucker for the feeling of your skin against mine.
I’m a sucker for the way you hold my hand, and, even though you don’t hold it in any special way, it somehow feels different. It feels better.
I’m a sucker for your heavy breathing as you sleep.
I’m a sucker for you.

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

WELCOME ROBYN ~ Thanks for your first poem ! I liked the free verse style ~ the Subject ~ We are all SUCKERS when we are in LOVE ~ I often put my brain on hold ! I like the areas you highlight ~ Sunsets (ultimately romantic !) The Ocean ~ Moon ~ Sound of Rain (I adore nature !) BED (Heaven !) Person to person LOVE (eyes ~ laughter ~ skin on skin ~ AWESOME) Holding Hands (that's how all love starts !) My partners (in bed) have all been FEMALE and they Breath Light ~ but I take your point ~ I love to hear and feel ANGELA (my current Lady) BREATH ! I'm a Sucker for ANGELA and everything you mention ~ so I can EMPATHISE ~ thanks for Caring & Sharing ! Yours BRIAN (UK) Please check my Poems ~ Thanks B.
