Poetry Is (II)

Laura🌻

Poetry is
The nectar of the pen
The vessel of ambrosia
The decanter of spirits
~Laura~

Poetry is
That which pulls upon you
From deep inside
To express your beautiful view

Poetry is
the avenue for
our imagination
to stroll upon

POETRY IS ~ AN ACROSTIC ~ BRIANODES
***************************
POETRY is from the Heart
ONE shares ones Heart openly
EXPRESSIONS of Love ~ Joy ~ Peace
TRY to concentrate on Happiness in ODES
REMEMBER to include Rhyme ~ Rhythm ~ Repetition
You are controlled by your MUSE so please don't worry to much
*************************************************
I write what my Muse dictates to me ~ She is gentle
So my Poetry always wears velvet gloves !

Sorry I had eight lines CARA MIA but its an ACROSTIC ~ OK

poetry is a reflection ,
of your heart and soul,the feeling that you hold.
hold deep inside, and transferred to a poets pen,
to paint the feelings you hold with in...
ron parrish,wish you a merry christmas

Poetry is my liberation
Naked in all my glory
To hold nothing back
Paying it forward

MODERN POETRY IS WORDS
WORDS in any order and devoid of
Rhyme ~ Rhythm ~ Repetition or Reason
BUT sometimes it's passion eclipses Shakespeare !
************************************************
That which breaks the RULES is always SUPERIOR to them !

Poetry is
Love
In
Motion

LOVE IS
IN MUSIC BUT
IT IS ALSO IN POETRY
MUSIC IS THE FOOD OF LOVE
BUT POETRY IS THE LIQUID OF LOVE
MUSIC FEEDS ~ BUT ~ POETRY INTOXICATES
LAURA I LOVE TO DRINK FROM YOUR POETIC FOUNTAIN
*************************************************
NINE LOVELY POEMS FOR LAURA ~ PLEASE ADD SIX TO COMPLETE !

Poetry is A dip in the ink of my imagination
An adventure away from a bad situation
A love letter to my inspiration
Poetry is a matter of the heart and a deviation

Poetry is
The expression of the mind,
An escape from reality,
It encases the mind like a vine,
Growing flowers and thorns to bind.
Poetry is entwined in the hearts of some,
A permanent piece of them,
It sticks to them like gum.
It doesn't matter where you're from,
Poetry is everywhere.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Poetry is dreaming me something courtly
Poetry is sketching a kindly world
Poetry is soothing the bruising of my loneliness
Poetry is loving me
Poetry is cooling my brow with kisses
Poetry is healing my wounded heart
Poetry is taking me in your arms
Poetry is saying you are the man I want
Poetry is making my bed at nightfall
Poetry is flufffing my pillow up
Poetry is laying me down in slumber
Poetry is watching me ‘til I wake up
Poetry Is: never frustrating and always
very, very satisfying. Laura
