Poetry is me, it's you and all things
It's the no hesitation moments of life
The love and the pain, grief and joy
My thoughts are the reflection
Past, present or future.
Remembering to never forget
Being greatful for the gift
Knowing everything will pass
What poetry is....like all things
Whatever you want it to be!
A place where your inner voice is free
Bringing it into existence with our force
Once written it's done, out of the mind
Even if you burn it, hide it or share aloud
The truth inside that can not be tamed
Will slowly eat away if always contained
