Crocodile

Dead eyes are shining
Brightly in the lagoon.
Diamond teeth are sparkling
With the intent to kill.

Reflecting,
everything above
stirring
in its waters
looking
two black eyes
waiting
for a victim
thirsty
reaching down
drinking
jaws snatching
thrashing
now silence
still
the water
stained
with the victims blood.

Known by none
was never there
is gone.
