Into The Valley (The Grand Finale)

It has been miles,
since I had left behind my protege.
The reason why I left her,
is because,
it was not a mission that I planned to come back from.
As I sit firmly on my horse,
and stare down the valley,
it seems as though I have been here before.
I stand face to face,
with the valley.
I stay motionless on my steed,
as I prepare myself.
Before entering,
I look to the heavens,
and yell,
"Oh Lord, My God,
I have fought the good fight!
I have kept the faith!
You have used me, Oh Lord!
I now have someone,
to take my place!
I do not expect to return, Oh Lord!
So God, if this should be,
my last stand,
against the enemy,
I ask Lord,
that you finish my mansion for me,
and that like those before me,
You give a great ending,
to my story"!
So I kick the side of my steed,
and begin to proceed,
to move forward
into the valley,
with God taking the lead.
I do not fear the valley.
Nor did I ever.
Still, these are not like most valleys.
The walls are higher.
The paths are narrower.
The terrain is rougher.
It is colder.
It is darker.
The rocks are sharper.
There are more dried human bones,
lying on the floor than most of the other valleys.
The steep walls smell putrid,
and are stained everywhere with blood.
Caves filled with monstrous creatures,
lay hidden,
but fill each side of the valley.
As I move forward,
I remain vigilant.
I see smoke rise out of the earth.
Demons laugh,
louder and louder.
It has been miles,
since I entered this treacherous place.
So far I have killed plenty,
in this valley.
The easy has passed,
but I shall fear no evil.
I am now surrounded
by the enemy.
Still, I will fear no evil.
I am knocked off my horse.
My leg is hurt,
and I am outnumbered.
Yet, I do not fear any evil.
My time is at hand.
Farewell my fellow brothers and sisters.
The enemy may have killed me.
However, it has not taken my life.
On the contrary.
As I enter into Heaven,
I begin my third life.

THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE VALLEY ~ FOR ME ~ BRIANSODES
