CLOUDS embrace the Sky ~ as they go
Floating by ~ in the Sky so high !
CIRRUS caused by Wind and Nimbus Rain
Cumulus ~ cotton wool again !
Clouds are not just Aerial decoration
They're responsible for PRECIPITATION !
CLOUDS are water vapour trapped
Dust particles by H2O enwrapped
The CLOUDS rise ~ then again ~ The
Water drops coalesce and fall as RAIN !
Exploding Supernova can provide
IONS which form Cloud Nuclei inside ......
The CLOUDS ~ which then increase in size
And CLOUD formation ~ thus provides !

THANKS CHRIS ~ Pleased you liked the POEM ~ It was based on a piece of Research in DENMARK only reported yesterday. It is interesting because it is another reason for Climate Change other than CO2 increase ! Trump will be pleased. Poems by "space_girl" are all about Space so people read them but don't comment ~ I would like her to post more Science Poems ~ They are as rare as "Hens Teeth" ~ so please comment to ENCOURAGE ! THANKS FRED ~ Sounds interesting ~ but we take so many things for granted ~ including the atmosphere ! I designed and helped to run an Environmental Degree ~ Pollution & Protection of Air ~ Sea ~ Land and Noise pollution. My Special Study was the Atmosphere which is very transient and changes in pollutant composition from minute to minute due to (wind) we also had to monitor water borne contamination like ACID RAIN ! I first learned about clouds and their relationship to weather in the SCOUTS when I did my METREOLOGY BADGE ! We had to record the "Weather etc" for three months ~ which gave me a real insight into clouds etc ! Pleased my POEM jogged your memory ~ BRIAN
As an environmental consultant I primarily prepare permit applications for both air and water permits. I also do air pollution modeling which can get quite complicated with actual 3 year meteo data and actual elevation input on top of all the source input. Fascinating! So I know where you come from.
