I am glass

an.g.v

I am glass

Made to be tough, easy to be broken

Built like a work of art, made of a million pieces

You can see through, and you can look past me

But could you still see the real me

scraped and scratched scars from the past

I am glass, I am glass

WELCOME FRIEND ~ Thanks for you first poem ~ which is beautiful in both SHAPE & SUBJECT ! GLASS is an awesome material ~ a supercooled liquid ~ which makes it smooth & transparent ! It's tougher than you think ! We still have glass pint milk bottles in the UK ~ which are returnable and last many many refillings ! I like the analogies ! You can see through me ~ but can you see the real me ? Can you see what I reflect ? Our reused glass milk bottles do get scarred (and even chipped) with use and so do we etc. Seeing you as a "Glass Maiden" has given me a new insight as to how People actually see us ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ more please ! Happy Christmas ~ Yours BRIAN (UK) ~ Please check my poems ~ Thanks B.
