PEACE ON EARTH

lasergraph

(c) 2017 Edward York

The season's finally ended,

Wrapping paper on the floor,

Some gifts have been set aside,

To take back to the store.

Little hands have grown idle,

As the excitement starts to fade.

The gifts have all been delivered,

The toys have all been played.

Chaos has turned to calm,

As we all turn to rest.

The time that's spent with Family,

Is the time that's spent the best.

So nap time will be coming,

As we gathered in our fleece.

Wishing that the entire world,

Could experience such a peace.
