YOU

Toby Hart

You

I see parts of me dripping into her character

Each day she becomes more and more like me

Things I admire she admires now

Like you

And all the other things we did

My music is now hers

So are the conversations and moments we had

I have never regretted

Sharing myself more

And showing you all my insides

Free for you to share

Like I'm something common

A coin

Found on the streets

Of misery and sadness you have created

The frustration of taking pieces of me

And giving them away

It is not okay to take an identity

And give it to someone else

Just because she isn't me
