Insides

M.E.M.

It was once all

fun and games.

Then the pain started.

An ache in my center

brings me to my knees.

I am now half-life,

not able to be what I once was.

Once I was given a kiss,

nevermore.

It’s beautiful, but I’m struggling to figure out why you put in ‘nevermore’.

It's like the kiss broke the person and gave them this pain. So they will kiss nevermore

Amazing write, M.E.M! There are times when we feel we can never be whole again, and you expressed it beautifully and artistically.
Instead of titling it 'live', you could have titled it 'life', because it will heal itself!
Btw, don't give up on kissing....it's just too much fun!
