To Follow Him Is Happiness

To Follow Him Is Happiness

 

When I follow Him all is good

And I smile much more often

The world is better understood

And around Him life’s revolving

 

I used to live a worldly life

And worked for all the others

Until I knew how to live

A life with all my brothers

 

In my new way of life

I meditate every day

And I ask just what He would do

If He were in my place

 

Now I take an inventory

Of all the things I’ve done

And I apologize when I should

And make right when I am wrong

 

Today I take the time 

And relax to beautiful music

I hear God when He sings

And I sing along so soothing
