Hear Her

beachbabe

Do you hear her

whisper?

Softly like the wind.

Do you hear her

scream?

Like the thunder

rolling in.

Listen as she speaks.

Close your eyes,

take it deep.

She’s a whisper.

She’s a scream.

And Everything,

in between.

Welcome to MPS, beachbabe! I have no idea about what you intended with this poem, but to me it is a wave. That one perfect wave on the north shore of Oahu, the one I have been waiting for! Very well penned!!!

WELCOME BEACHBABE ~ Thanks for your first poem which leaves much to the imagination ~ as a good poem should ! To me it invokes a Mermaid ~ very ephemeral ! I have heard them but never actually seen one ! I have met the WIKI WAKI Mermaids in Florida and in the water they took my breath away ~ BUT ~ When we got to talk ~ they were just Ladies with plastic tails ! Maybe one day I will get to meet a real one ! "Thanks for sharing" Yours BRIAN (UK) Please check my POEMS ~ Thanks B.
