Breath

pots-and-pans

It's a constant reminder, every single day
Wouldn't it be so much better
If I
Stopped?

Stopped beating myself up,
For every promise I have broken.
Stop bathing in the pain, of every cruel word
That’s ever been spoken.

Stopped telling myself
I'm not good enough
Stopped insisting
Resisting
I know it's rough

Stopped believing in some one ,
Who brings me so much pain.
Stopped thinking I’m not worthy,
Of smiles and sunny days.
Stopped feeling I deserve,
Only gray clouds and rain.
I wish these thoughts stopped,
They haven’t still.
I’m starting to wonder, if they ever will.

There isn't any point
I should just give up
Living a lie
I'm not tough enough
Just grey skies
no sunshine
angry
staying up all night

BREATH & THE CARBON CYCLE ETC ~ BRIANSODES
***********************************
I am an ANIMAL
I am an AIR BREATHER
I Breath In nitrogen & oxygen
The OXYGEN is absorbed in my Blood
And distributed throughout my whole BODY
It reacts with GLUCOSE to form H2O CO2 & Energy
Without OXYGEN ~ I would die ~ so I keep on breathing !
*********************************************
The POTATO PLANTS
In my garden do the reverse
They BREATH IN CO2 and with H2O
They synthesise GLUCOSE (C6H12O6) and
Breath out OXYGEN ~ so ME and MY Potatoes
Work SYMBIOTICALLY to maintain the CO2 content
Of the ATMOSPHERE constant ~ or that was GOD's idea !

Sitting in darkness,
Sifting through miles, of cold black sand.
Hoping to find,
A glimmer of light,
Pulling it out with my broken hand.
Finally, I break it loose, hold it tight.
Raise it high, in the empty night.
Lowering my head with somber despair,
It doesn’t alluminate, or even glow.
Why are my efforts always in vain?
Never to end this torturous pain.
Perhaps, some day, I will finally know.
How to dig out of this darkness,
And rise like a light from below.
