It Hurts

colacalippo

Shattered, Mended, Shattered Again

The pain I go through never ends

The bleaming sun shines down on the pieces of my broken heart

A never before seen colour

It’s beautifully tragic

Painfully gorgeous

Blinding, yet, eye-opening

I want to scream

But all anyone could hear is the sound of my heart breaking more and more

A never before heard sound

Deafening, yet, melodic

I want to hear none of it, but I want to hear all of it

It hurts

It hurts to breathe such a disease filled air

It hurts to get your heart broken countless times

It hurts to not matter and be so unloved

It hurts to slide a blade deep into my scar-covered wrist

It hurts to not be able to breathe through the tears I’m weeping

It hurts to be used as a sex object

It hurts to just be a pick me up

It hurts, I hurt, you hurt me
