Tune: Binchester

('Happy are they, they that love God')

Genesis 1 v.26 - 2 v.25

********

All the Lord made, it very good

Not His intent man should

Live in state sinful, separate

From Him, His purpose great

Original perfection there

Did Adam and Eve share

In garden of Eden's beauty

Living whole, pure, and free

One thing there was, they to avoid

So friendship not destroyed

They not to eat of tree where known

Good and evil were shown

That tree amid garden, not hid

Free will man gave, God did

Made in image, likeness of God

Formed from the ground, dust's clod

But sin came in, of tree they ate

Had not tasted it yet

Now here be sin, here be man's fall

Yet good news, God saves all

Thanks Michael. Erm, Common Metre = CM, a hymn form. I found out some abbreviations in hymn books, after years of wondering what they meant. But I can't write music though! If that's not 'Today's Useless information' (TUI).

And furthermore, why does it put in loads of \\\\\ if one edits a comment? We must know these things! lol.

Don't ask me about /// but Tui - went to Madeira last year with them.

Were they a pain, TUI - changing their logo? There's a lot of stupidity and wastage over logos. We chucked out loads of stationery. Staff could have it if they wished - with old logo on it.

            Thanks all.

The book of Genesis and beauty are inseparable. We may say the same about your poetry.

              Thanks Gary.
