Understanding we all are doing the best we can
I was blessed to be given a life to live
A mother to help me as much as she could
Yes! in a wish it could of not turned bad before my teens
No child in this world should have to choose leaving
Knowing that another was better to know
Stuck in world where home was a fading memory
Lost in the disconnection of nowhere to be
Yet still the in the moment of no one remained someone
Waiting for it all to change in a way we could remain
In a short time one can move on with the pain
Letting only the universe know that it's still chained
Holding on to a thought of how I still had a roof over my head
For my crys always would soon find ladys shoulder to rest
Many showed me to always be me
Don't be ashamed to cry or to scream
No matter what happens it will all pass
Everything will be okay, you are still loved
With every beat that I try to recall
There's be a female by it all
Guiding me along the way
To help me find what I left
To be able to find forgiveness
Remembering all that love
Ready to give it my all, no barriers up
Learning nothing breaks it only deepens
This is what we are put here to do
Help one another see a new dawn shine through

And I shall never return to shutting it all out again, as I see now that it may of stopped any more pain getting in but also stopped the love too

I'm honoured to have that affect, and reading your words of unloved and not good enough are perfect. I think that is what sent me down the darkest paths with plenty of actions to be ashamed of but it will always be a part of me and writing helps me find that light.

it is something i can relate to i grew up feeling unloved and it really does have an impact on your self esteem etc. and its something which had a huge impact on me too , for a long time. i think with kind words towards ourselves and treating ourselves in a nicer way we can somehow move past this , sometimes we need help too but i guess learning to give ourselves the love we never received as a kid , is kind of the way to go lol . you are welcome 🙂
