When You Find Someone.

kevin browne

When you find someone to kiss your soul, mind and heart
Wherever you are, whatever you're doing take on that part
Sharing her with a life that will be full of exploding emotions
For that, at least, there lay a tenderness deep in devotions
Twitching at the thought of an emptiness unfolding inside
Trembling from a fear of losing that closeness led beside
Brought up in believing love would be the greatest love of all
If you're lucky enough to be so pure, proud and stand so tall
Tick tock the chimes ring out the tune of stopping the clock
Halted in time to think about the love who is your solid rock
If I hold her heart up to the sky she will surely learn how to fly
On my back, she holds me tightly as we paddle across the sky
Soaked in our passions amongst the cloudiest of silver lining
Entwined and bewildered by the glow of our Gods sun shining
Wrapped up in the heat of moments caused by ecstatic feelings
With her whistling sweet harmonies, I listen to worldly meanings
I kiss her cheek beside a smile that just simply melts me down
Recognition in a relationship of beauty there is no need to frown
Rendered as her gentle finger touched my lips to gesture a kiss
I closed my eyes they opened again to see what it is I missed
Sincere revelation in this thing called love there's nothing like it
Take everything you can gather and always repay your bigger bit
Our love is dear and recommended to liven your spiritual keeper
For there is the answer for a fool in love who turns out a weeper
This journey is taken along the highway of a love that searches
In Gods home where we gather in to pray in our churches.

Truly beautifully put together. Words which echo within us all, calling to our deepest yearnings and frailty.
My church is unlikely to be your church gut does it matter? .... no, not where love is concerned.
            into my favourites... thank you
