Look at the Stars.

Goldfinch60

In life we all start the same,

Where we will go is unknown,

But some of us will rise,

Rise into a world of love.

Although we know not

Where we will be going,

That way will always be upwards,

If you look at the stars

Good write Gold. Do you know the one? (I forgot some of it):
"Two men in a dungeon - with a window in it!
One looked down, one looked up
One saw mud, the other saw stars"

Thanks Orchi, yes I had heard that expression.

And yes, as one Vicar said in a farewell sermon: Look up! He was rather military. Bit difficult for females to relate to him.

Really like this poem, Goldie! We do need to 'look at the stars', or see only the good!

Thank you Fred. So very true, there is good in all we do but some can only see the bad.
